As a predatory fish with extremely fast growth rate and strong destructiveness, the invasive alien species alligator gar has attracted people's attention recently. In Yunchan Lake in the Central Park of Ruzhou City, Henan Province, the lake water was even drained to catch alligator gar. As a result, as the water level dropped, the alligator gar also ran into the culvert. The situation of the culvert is unclear and it is difficult for personnel to enter, which brings certain difficulties to the next step of the capture. In this scenario, using a sewer survey or other types of outdoor operation robots with conductive slip rings to enter the culvert can greatly reduce the risks brought by unknown situations.

On sewer survey or outdoor multifunctional robots, conductive slip rings are installed on the robot's pan/tilt or control center for the transmission of power and signals. Some higher-end robots also require a single-mode fiber slip ring to be integrated in the conductive slip ring to achieve the ability to transmit high-speed data to a longer distance. Taking the sewer robot used for survey as an example, the conductive slip ring it uses will basically integrate one SDI high-definition video signal path. In addition, some special robots may also integrate infrared cameras in the camera, so the corresponding conductive slip ring also needs to add corresponding paths to increase support for the infrared video signal path.

As a well-known conductive slip ring manufacturer in the industry, JINPAT Electronics has the ability to develop conductive slip rings for various types of robots. JINPAT Electronics has developed more than 100 corresponding conductive slip ring product cases for the sewer survey robots and outdoor robots such as fire fighting mentioned above.
